Christmas Gift Ideas 3……..Lancome Definicils Mascara Gift Set.

Hi Everyone,

Hope your all enjoying getting into the Christmas spirit, i know i am starting to get very excited now and i’m back with another Christmas gift idea to keep it moving along.

This is one of my favourites and is available every Christmas to purchase and has been for the last few years now. It is the Lancome Definicils Mascara Gift Set. Lancome also do the same set with Hypnose,  Hypnose Drama, Hypnose Star and Doll Eyes mascara as well. So if definicils mascara is not a favourite of yours there are plenty to choose from in these sets.

Lancome Limited Edition Mascara sets

The gift set contains a full size Definicils mascara and a mini Khol pencil, both in black and a 30ml Bi-facil non-oily eye makeup remover suitable for sensitive skin.

These sets are great value because the mascara alone is £21.00 and you get all three products for the same price. They also make a great Christmas present for makeup lovers.

The mascara itself has a brush designed to give long straight lashes without any clumping and it really does deliver. It never clumps even when it gets old and is smudge proof.  Any one who reads my blog will know how much i rave on about this mascara. I have wore it for a long time now and its my all time favourite mascara and yes i have pretty much tried them all out there. I also favour others such as Dior New Look  and Dior Extase mascaras as well but this one just gives me great looking lashes with very little effort. The brush is quite long and straight and the formula is neither thick or very wet either. Its the nicest formulation i have come across and is great for the sensitive skin around my eyes even though it is mildly fragranced.

I should mention that i do have long lashes which curl easily but my lashes can look messy if the mascara dries and clumps quickly or if the mascara wands have odd shapes. (I have noticed that narrow, straight brush heads work wonders on my lashes)  YSL Shocking Volume mascara and Lancome Hypnose Drama both don’t do my lashes the justice they deserve. Read my review on them here . If you have sparse lashes with little curling ability then i would not recommend Definicils mascara. Lancome Hypnose Doll Eyes or Hypnose Drama mascara will give you great thick curly lashes instead. (Pictured right is One coat of Definicils Mascara on my eye).

Lancome Definicils Mascara(2)Moving on. The Bi-facil eye makeup remover is fantastic for removing stubborn eye makeup without feeling oily or drying. It has won many awards and i don’t think i have yet found another eye makeup remover which can remove my mascara so quickly. Usually i end up with bright red eyes when i have tried others because i have had to go over my eyes endlessly to get rid of every bit of makeup. Because Bi-facil removes makeup quite quickly, less of the product is needed, making it good value.

Lancome Bi-Facil Eye Makeup RemoverAs for the eye pencil, well i don’t suit black so i always end up giving it away. It is the generic Kohl black eye liner pencil. I am happy with the mascara and eye makeup remover alone but if you suit black eye liner, then this is just an added bonus.

So there you have it. Make someones Christmas with this fab gift or just buy it for yourself and make your own and ask questions if i haven’t covered anything you need to know. Press the follow button if you enjoyed this or any of my posts please.

I shall be back with another Christmas gift idea, so until then, happy shopping.   😉
