Dior Cherie Bow Spring 2013 Makeup Preview

Hi Everyone,

Hope your all staying happy and loving the run up to Christmas. As Christmas is almost here, along with my Christmas gift suggestions it is also time to preview some more high end makeup collections soon to be released. So here is another favourite of mine. J’Adore Dior, literally. Dior are releasing their Spring Makeup early for 2013. 4th January Exclusively to Selfridges and then UK wide release on 18th January, Europe 9th January or thereabouts. This is early for Spring releases. I wonder if recession has something to do with it!

They have some exciting makeup coming out for Spring 2013  and the collection is called Cherie Bow. Pink and bows are the theme and there are some fantastic palettes and something brand new from Dior. ‘The Twin Set’,mmmmmm. Read on if your intrigued.

The Cherie both palettes have two applicators, three eye shadows, one eye liner and a lip gloss. Picture centre is what it looks like closed and both sets open on the right. Colours include: Top is 001 Rose Poudre and bottom 002 Rose Perle. £59. The swatches and palettes are stunning and will be best sellers for sure and are also Limited edition.

The Three Colour eyeshadow palette in 731 Smokey Rose £34 offers a base colour to prime the lid, a matte and shimmering duo to contour in these beautiful pinks with dog tooth pattern.

The two 5 eye shadow palettes are £41 each and the paler one on the left is 724 Rose Ballerina, right is the deeper shades 854 Rose Charmeuse with the dog tooth design again. These palettes offer great value because many looks can be created from just one palette.

Dior-Twin-Set-Eyeshadow-Pens-for-Spring-2013The newest and most exciting part of the collection to me is the ‘Twin Set’. Consisting of a kohl pencil at one end of the stylo and an eye shadow at the other. £24.50 and available in 4 shades (Chanel are bringing out something similar in their Summer 2013 collection). Shades include;

060 Grey Sigh,  090 Fishnet Black

530 Beige Ribbon, 840 Ballerina Pink

Dior Cherie Bow Blushers

The two blushers are a duo toned coral and pink. Cost £29.50 each. 659 Tender Coral on the left and 729 Pink Happiness on the right of the picture.

Pictured left are two lip treatment serums in this collection which are great for people with very dry lips. Cost £25.00. Left 630 Arabesque Pink and 250 Tuille Pink. Pictured right are Dior Addict Lipsticks. Starting from top, 437 Charmante, 457 Candide, 467 Bow, 687 Espeige all £24.00.

Next are the clear awakening nail and lip glow. Said to enhance both the nails and lips while remaining transparent. The Dior Vernis are £18.00 and available in 155 Tutu (nude pale pink), 306 Gris Trianon (Soft Grey) and 355 Rosy Bow.

Diorskin-Nude-BB-CreamThere is also a loose powder in rosy beige £31.50 and finally a new BB cream which offers a rosy glow available in three shades. £30.00.

Now that’s one large collection with only the Cherie Bow palettes being limited edition. I personally am very interested in the twin sets, BB cream because its offering something different and the 3 colour eye shadows. What do you find interesting in this collection, if anything?

Hope you enjoyed this post and i will see you all very soon, take care   😉
