Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder (57) Reverie……………….A Spectacular Sprinkle of Fairy Dust.
Hope your all doing fine. I am back with another post from my Chanel Christmas goodies.
Never have loose face powders become so interesting as the ones produced by Chanel in their holiday collections. Rêverie (57), a loose finish face powder is part of the Chanel Éclats Du Soir Holiday 2012 and is limited edition. It is soft beige in colour and contains golden sparkles. Ideal for the party season but if you hate sparkles, you can apply it with a brush instead rather than the puff it comes with.
Brushing it onto the face breaks down the sparkles into soft satin shimmer, while pressing onto the face with the puff maintains them. So it can be used as a highlighter as well as all over the face to set your makeup. This powder is ideal for pale to mid skin tones and will be great as a highlighting powder only, for darker skin.
I love the sparkles just on top of my cheekbones. These sparkling ones only come out from Chanel at Christmas and sometimes they do pressed powder versions in the spring/summer collections. There is one coming out on the 18th January 2013 UK and Europe in the Printemps Précieux de Chanel 2013 Collection.
I also received the Chanel Holiday Collection Les Scintillantes de Chanel 2011 loose finish face powder last Christmas, which was called (47) Féérie. This is a soft pink powder with pink and golden sparkles, each colour reflects in different types of artificial light and in sunlight. This one is incredibly unique and i love the colour of the powder itself although i do really like Rêverie too. It is a dream!!! Chanel loose powders are very finely milled and there is absolutely no caking with them.
Above left is Chanel Rêverie and on the puff below; right is Chanel Féérie and on the back of my hand. Both powders were photographed in artificial light to give maximum effect.
Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder is a generous 30gm in weight, costs £34.00 and is still available at http://www.debenhams.com along with other shades for every skin tone. Both powders are available at http://www.boots.com online.
Hope you enjoyed this post and i will see you very soon with another. Take care 😉
