Perfume of The Month………………..Estee Lauder Pleasures, Bloom. Spring is Blooming

Hi Everyone,

Hope your all happy. I am getting into the Spring mood.There’s a few April showers around but overall, its been a nice month.

I am a bit of a perfume freak. I think if your going to spend time putting makeup on then you should at least wear fragrance too and one of my favourite Spring perfumes is the Estée Lauder Pleasures Intense. It is like a huge bouquet of flowers, really lovely and feminine and very apt for Spring and Summer too.

I did own a bottle of this when i lived in Australia, but whether it was the incredible heat or something else, it went off after a couple of years. There was only a tiny amount left in the bottle so, no harm done.

I went to buy another bottle and found out that Estée Lauder had released another version in the Pleasures range called Bloom. It is as lovely if not more lovely than Pleasures Intense, so i decided to purchase this one instead, for a change.

The fantastic thing i have noticed with all the Estée Lauder perfumes i have owned is that, the fragrance wears for at least 6 hours without needing to re-apply and this is no exception. The 30ml Eau de Parfum is £36.00, which is really great value.

To the perfume itself;

Top notes consist of pink grapefruit, violet flower and raspberry.

Middles notes have spicy green lily, lychee, pink peony, rose and jasmine.

Base notes have vanilla, patchouli and musk.

When i first spray it. i can notice the pink grapefruit and violets coming through, then the pink peony and rose takes over and finally i am left with violet, rose, vanilla and musk.

It is a lovely spring fragrance and worth taking a look at. Most of the new perfumes with rose coming out this year have a slightly soapy edge to them but this one doesn’t at all and it seems to remain true to the ingredients throughout the day.

So if your looking for a feminine carefree fragrance, which is not over powering but ideal for the season, i highly recommend this one.

Hope you liked my post and i will be back soon. Take care peops. 😉

  1. I have been getting into spring this year much more than previous years and have been looking for a nice rose scent. I used to dislike it when I was younger so it must be an acquired scent :). I’ll have to check my local stores to see if they have this scent.

    • Yes its so lovely and as i said, a lot of perfumes can sometimes smell a bit soapy after a while but this never does. It just stays the same as the minute you sprayed it on yourself
