Guerlain Terra Ora Sculpting Powder For Face & Decollete

Hi Everyone,

How’s it going? Taking a trip into town a couple of weeks ago, i came across the most beautiful face palette i have seen in a while, i couldn’t resist spending some of my hard earned money on it and i was supposed to be buying clothes, mmm!!!

Guerlain Terra Ora

The Guerlain Terra Ora sculpting face powder with contrasting highlighter for face and dΓ©colletΓ© is stunning just to look at and after using it for two weeks now, i am still very impressed by it.

Described as a pearly pale gold with a matte beige powder, it creates a very healthy glow to the skin. No Guerlain bronzer is ever muddy or orange and is always made with super finely milled powder and this one is no exception.

It is a sculpting powder and the centre is used to highlight, while the matte brown is used to contour. To be honest, the matte side still has a fair amount of shimmer which would not be great for contouring for me. It is an amazing facial colour enhancing powder for my skin though, giving a rosy/bronzed finish with golden shimmer.

How i use it

I have found that the best way for me to use this powder is to mix both shades together for all over the face in a light sweep with my Chanel Les Beiges Kabuki brush, then i put the highlighter on top of my cheekbones and down the centre of my face. I then use the darker shade for my cheeks for a lovely shimmer blusher. It can be used on collar bones too.

Lovely face enhancing powder that gives the skin a very healthy glow.

Another iconic tan enhancing powder which Guerlain are famous for.

It will probably be even better to use in the winter when my skin is pale and dull looking because it really illuminates.

Show stopping dark wooden case with a large mirror. I am so impressed how it closes with mini magnets too.

Beautiful fragrance in the palette.

A very generous 16gm of product for Β£36.00 from

I’ve got a feeling there will be many regrets when a friend pulls it out of her bag to powder her face and you never bothered to buy it while it was still available.

I can understand where Guerlain are coming from with the sculpting name but i feel personally that their four seasons bronzers with minimal shimmer would be more ideal to use as a sculpting powder on my skin.

If you have very sensitive skin, the fragrance will probably not help; although, it disappeared a few seconds after i applied the product.

Is limited edition.

Final Verdict

So glad i bought it, having let others go by in the past from Guerlain and regretted it. Guerlain bring out some jaw dropping products and they are worth every penny and nearly always limited edition. Fantastic quality from the French Perfumer. If you have a pale to medium skin tone and want a bronzing highlighter then get it NOW! Going going gone!!!!

Have fun and i will see you all soon. πŸ˜‰

  1. This looks so beautiful! I’ve had Guerlain bronzers before and I was really impressed. x

  2. Good to know their bronzers aren’t orange. I love my Too Faced for the same reason!

  3. I love thisTerra Ora too! And i wear it the same way as you – blush & highlighter. It’s just a teeny weeny bit too shimmery & bronze-y for all over for me… but i still love love love it!
