Perfume of The Month……………..Max Mara, Zeste & Musc Le Parfum

Hi Everyone,

How are you all? There’s nothing i like more than having a cool shower and putting on a lovely lemon zesty perfume on a hot day and we have had a good summer this year in the UK, so i have been wearing this perfume a lot over the past two months.

I bought it a couple of years ago. The first one released by the fashion house Max Mara, was called Le Parfum and i bought the Zeste & Musc version. It also came with a free 5ml of the original Le Parfum perfume too.

I love the fact this is heady and very musky with lemon coming through. Its probably not a perfume for everyone but i think its ideal for the summer time because of the zesty fragrance to it and the musk keeps it hanging around for a long while without having to top up.

Ingredient composition.

Top Notes:      Bergamot, Mandarin

Middle Notes:  Freesia, Date Fruit, Spicy White Pepper, Magnolia, Nutmeg

Base Notes:     Linden Tree, Cedar, Musk

The Amulet shaped bottle was designed by Thierry de Baschmakoff and the perfume was released in 2009.

La Parfum was created by Vincent Schaller in 2008 and contains Jasmine, Moroccan Rose, Plum, Gardenia with base notes of Sandalwood, Lime Blossom and Brazilian Rosewood.

I like both perfumes but i especially like the  Zeste and Musc version for hot days. What are your favourite perfumes for summer?

Have fun and i will see you all soon. 😉

  1. That is such an unusual but beautiful shape for a perfume!
