October Favourites…………………For The Twill of It!
Hope you’re all happy and well. I can’t believe how quick this year has flown by and we are already into November. It’s flying by!
Last month i tried out a couple of new items which i have been loving so much and have quickly become firm favourites. So lets get to it.
1. Philip Kingsley Shampoo, conditioner and Elasticizer
I mentioned the elasticizer in my last months favourites here, so i am not going to dwell on that too much. I had previously bought a pack of the three mini items and i have to say, they are great on my coloured, heat treated hair. I would put these products in the same quality range as Kérastase and they are also hitting the same price mark. I will repurchase the Elasticizer for sure.
2. St. Tropez Bronzing Mousse
A firm favourite and voted time and time again as the best bronzing range by the top beauty magazines. I managed to get this large bottle for the same price as the smaller one (£!3.00) and i’m never without it. It never streaks, even if i don’t exfoliate the skin and it has a lovely natural golden finish. It lasts at least 3 days even when i shower everyday. Worth every penny. A nice fragrance too.
3. Tigi Catwalk Straight Collection Sleek Mystique Leave in Conditioner
I bought this product in the sale last month and i am head over heels in love with it. It leaves my hair super soft and blow dry’s straighter too. Two quick sprays on damp hair does the trick. Amazing!
4. Chanel Rouge Coco Shine, 81 Fiction
I bought this one in the summer full review here, It is more of a fall/ winter shade and i have been loving it. This lipstick is the more intense Rouge Coco Shines and gives the lip a lot of colour pigmentation with incredible shine. If you have drier lips, i seriously recommend these ones.
I love the beautiful blueberry pink shade of this lipstick and the fact that it makes my teeth appear whiter than what they are with its cool tone.
5. Essie Nail Polish. 272 For The Twill of It
I love Essie nail colours. They are fun, modern and unique and cheap. Do not chip too quickly and this duo toned colour is wonderful. It is part of the Autumn/Fall 2013 collection. It is a blue/grey with purple shimmer, which gives a duo chrome effect on the nails and has gotten me many compliments, even from a Dior SA.
6. Chanel Joues Contraste Blush, 68 Rose Écrin
Chanel oh how i love Chanel. This blush is one of the best ones i own by Chanel. its the perfect warm shade of dusty pink and ideal for fall/winter. I reach for it more than any other shade i own by Chanel and i own a fair few now. It just goes very well with every lip colour i own for fall, its highly pigmented and never goes patchy, or wears off throughout the day. A winner for me.
7. Avon Always on Point Eyeliner, Lavender Grey
I have discovered a fantastic eyeliner by none other than Avon themselves. Its a perfect shade for blue or green eyes, (other shades available). Goes on really easily and then sets and stays put. I cannot believe the quality of these eye pencils, what a star product. They have a built in sharpener in the tip so they stay pointed every time they are used as well. Love this pencil so much, well done Avon! Not bad for £7.00
8. Avon Naturals Moisturising Body Whip, Cherry Blossom
Another skin softener fast becoming a firm favourite and i will be re-purchasing. I need body moisturisers these days to keep my skin supple and i love this body whip. Its light in texture and keeps my skin lovely with a gorgeous fragrance too.
There you have it. Another month of favourites gone by. Have fun peops and i will see you all soon. 😉
