Dior Transatlantique Summer Makeup Collection 2014………….Cruising in The Blue Coral!!!

Hi Everyone,

After watching the latest Application video’s by Dior for their new Summer Transat makeup collection, i had to go and have a look at what was on offer. I very rarely opt for many products from Dior summer collections. I do love the nude tan enhancing powders reviewed here and here; however this time, i like a lot of the collection.

Dior Transat Collection 2014

What i opted for in the end were three items, which were a mascara, eye liner and lipstick.

Diorshow Iconic Overcurl Waterproof Mascara, 351 Cruise Blue.

Gives long curling separated lashes from the first coat. I love this colour.

Its a mid blue, rather than the classic navy blue that never really ever shows up on the lashes. This one shoes up immediately and lashes do not go crispy either. I prefer to wear one coat of black mascara and then put this as the second coat to avoid a bit of overkill.I have blue eyes already.Would also look beautiful on brown eyes too.

The only gripe i have about the normal formula Iconic Overcurl is that it thickens quite quickly compared to other Dior mascara’s which end up lasting twice as long.

This is the first time i have ever used the waterproof version though, so i will keep you posted on how long it lasts. I do love the feel of it on my lashes though. No clumping either.

Diorshow Art Pen, 385 Bleu Croisière Eyeliner.

I’m not really used to using these felt tip sytle eyeliner pens. I only own one other and i do not have the steadiest of hands so; i very rarely use them. I do like this one for one reason; and that is, it does not dry down completely and i can correct mistakes. It can be smudged out too.

I like the shade of blue because it’s not too deep, (more a Cobalt blue) but can be if you press down harder with the pen.

If you are an expert with these pens then you can achieve great things. I can do basics with it. Lovely art pen.

Dior Addict Lipstick, 611 Cruise.

I love this lipstick so much. Dior Addict Lipsticks are the equivalent of Chanel’s Rouge Coco Shines, (Intense). They impart a water-like feel to the lips and give great moisture and shine as well. Ideal for summertime!

Cruise is a beautiful coral/orange shade. Gives great pigmentation and makes my lips look luscious and plump.

No, it doesn’t last on the lips all day but it does last a good couple of hours before you need to re-apply and gives a nice stain to the lips too.

I’m not disappointed at all. Love it! Dior and Chanel Coral Lipstick Swatches

Right are swatches compared to other coral lipstick shades i own.

Have you purchased any of the Dior Transat Summer collection? Let me know your fav’s. See you all soon. 😉

  1. These all look great! Dior products have always been my favourite!

  2. The Dior liner is a must have for me with its fine tip and Dior’s Iconic Mascara in brown is my failsafe mascara.
