Chanel Blue Rhythm Collection Haul and Review……….It’s A Blue Monday!
Yes i’m a bit late to the party with this one, but i want to try out products before i review them first so i can give a thorough review on them.
This is a fairly good sized collection of dramatic intense blues, black and silver/grey to create an intense look. I bought several things from this collection; however, i did give some a miss due to owning similar products already.
What i did buy, i absolutely adore, here goes.
Chanel Gloss Volume Lip Plumping Gloss.
I normally use the Dior Lip Maximizer and i’m pretty pleased with the results. None of the plumpers available, plump lips by much but they do give the lips a softer edging and often reduce fine lines around the lips while moisturizing really well, which gives a more plumped softer look to the lips.
The one issue i do have with them, is they often sting the lips and for a good length of time, which i hate. Not this one!
Chanel have managed to give all the same effects as the rest out there without any harsh tingling. Yipee!!! Thankyou Chanel. I would like some tinted ones next time please. A very nice if not, a must have product.

Chanel Ombre Essentielle Soft Touch Single Eyeshadow, 116 Swing.
I fell in love with this when i saw it in the pan. A real eye catcher of shimmering deep sea blue with lots of pink and blue sparkle. Gorgeous!
I love the soft touch eyeshadows by Chanel. They stay put without fading and most of them i have owned, are very soft and buttery to apply. Chanel also come up with some very incredible and unique shades too. They aren’t the run of the mill browns or nudes, which can be so boring.
This one does apply quite dark. It has a blackish/blue satin finish with twinkles of shimmer. I use it in my socket only. It would make a great all over eye colour for a very dramatic look, if you’re daring enough!. I also use it with my Dior mono eyeshadow, 045 Fairy Grey. What a combo!

Deffo the most interesting shade of the two on offer. The other one is distinctly similar to Blue Satin by Chanel.; quite dark and intense. This shade is a lovely mid-toned royal blue and is on the permanent list. It is simply stunning. I love some of the nail colours Chanel come up with and notice that many other beauty brands follow suit with ‘similar’ shades later on. This is a must have.
Chanel Stylo Yeux Waterproof Long Lasting Eyeliner, 916 Perlé de Lune.
Oh My! I mean Oh! My word. This is a must have for anyone. It is a beautiful shade of grey/silver/taupe/brown. Gorgeous! The reason being is that it’s incredibly wearable for anyone and in both the waterline and outside as a traditional eyeliner. Sadly. the picture of the swatch above does not reflect the the true beauty of this multi-faceted shade. It is also limited edition.I don’t get why Chanel does this. I mean this colour is so universal. A true knockout of a shade.
