February Favourites………. The Sun, The Moon and The Giant Corn!
Its frightening to think that we are already in March.Lets hope this month is slower and warmer. Here are my most used products for the past month.
Chanel Harmonie de Blush Sunkiss Ribbon.
I haven’t stopped using this since i bought it last month. It’s a gorgeous mix of pinks, coral and a highlighting cool bronze shade. Highly pigmented and one touch of a brush and it does both cheeks. I use it all swirled together and it gives a warm peachy/pink finish with a light golden highlighter to it.
I love it and have to say, its Chanel’s finest blusher to date.
Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize, Cream Eyeshadow Marie Antoinette.
Some say that this creases in the eyelid. I haven’t found that happen even once and i wear this so much. I do use NARS smudge proof eye base underneath it and have no problems with any eyeshadow creasing.
I like that it isn’t super glittery and has a lovely satin finish to it with a slight golden, bronze tone. Effortless and easy to apply, i am a big fan of these creamy eyeshadows. A tiny bit goes a long way.
Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau De Parfum.
I have wanted this perfume for so long now. It is a beautiful mix of spiced cherries and blackcurrants. Very distinctive and stays for hours on the skin. It feels nice and warming; an ideal fragrance for winter. I got it for nearly half price so i couldn’t pass up on it.
It has top notes of sour cherries, red berries, bergamot and almonds; middle notes of; rose, tea and licorice and; bottom notes of, anise, tonka bean, vanilla, patchouli and iris. Guerlain do some exceptional perfumes.
Charlotte Tilbury The Retoucher Conceal and Treat Stick, 02 Fair.
I love these under eye concealer, brightener sticks. I used to use YSL Touche Éclat all the time until i discovered this. Besides the fact that you get more product for your money with CT; 3ml, (i think YSL have reduced the size to 2.5ml) it just has a touch more coverage too. I find it stays on longer while YSL TE just disappeared after a short time. I did think TE illuminated a touch more though.
Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Single Luminous, 97 Eyeshadows; New Moon and 92 Diapason.
I love these two Illusion D’s from Chanel. Very unique shades and lovely on the eye. I use both a lot.
New Moon is a lovely neutral pale bronze with pink and golden micro shimmer. Absolutely lovely by itself for a simple neutral look or, as a topper to give a lovely shimmer over eyeshadows. Chanel originally released this as a LE and i bought it over 2 years ago now and then they released it again last year by popular demand.
Diapason is a plum purple shade with pink and blue microshimmer. A stunning duo chrome that works well with purples and pinks and makes a great crease shade because it is highly pigmented. It works well for a smokey eye too.
After owning this shade for almost 3 years now, it is slowly pulling away from the sides of the pot but it’s still lovely and soft and no less pigmented. Proof that if they are stored correctly, they do last.
Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Water with Rose Petals.
This is a giant size that Nuxe had as an offer last and and this is why i bought it. Its a bit expensive for the 200ml version (£14.00).
It is however; a lovely and very gentle cleansing water and i have been using it the past month because it’s coming close to being used up. I don’t think i will re-purchase unless they do a giant size again. This is the second larger one i bought after trying out a trial version. I do love Nuxe skin care.
M&S Salted Giant Corn.
As i get older, i am becoming more aware of what i eat and i want to start eating different types of snacks rather than chocolate.
I discovered these giant corns last month and they are lovely. Very moreish and not too fattening if you eat a small handful. They taste so much better than popcorn, (which i’m not a big fan of) and i think i’m on my 6th bag this month. They are baked and are quite unique.
Thats it folks. Fluffy insisted i took a selfie!
Take care and i will see you all soon. 😉
